President, Pilgrim Propane


The President of Pilgrim Propane, Ed is a seasoned manager with more than three decades of experience in construction management, facilities management and operations management. In 1985, he founded E.J. Geswell Plumbing & Heating, LLC.

In addition to running a plumbing and heating business, he’s also held executive positions at EnergyUSA Propane and Alvin Hollis. He taught evening classes at both South Shore Vocational & Technical High School as well as Old Colony Trade School, Ed has been active in local government in the Town of Norwell.


Ed holds a master’s degree in business administration from Suffolk University and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Boston College. He is a licensed Master Plumber, Master Pipe Fitter and Sprinkler Contractor and holds a Construction Supervisor Builders license, Oil Burner Certificate of Competency and a Master Sheet Metal Worker license. Ed resides in Hanover with his wife Kathy. The couple has a son, Edward III, and daughter, Janice, and five grandchildren.

Vice-President of Pilgrim Propane, Eddie literally grew up in the plumbing and heating business, working for his father’s company, E.J. Geswell, LLC, at a very early age. He attended South Shore Vocational and Technical High School with an HVAC Certificate and earned an associate’s degree in HVAC engineering and applied sciences from Massasoit Community College.

In addition to his formal education, Eddie is a licensed Master Plumber and Journeyman Pipe Fitter and holds an Oil Burner Certificate of Competency License, a Refrigeration Technician License and a Master Sheet Metal Worker license.

After holding sales, management and technician positions for a variety of firms, Eddie partnered with his father in the plumbing and heating business in 2005. In 2009, he and his father, Ed, formed Pilgrim Propane, LLC.

Married, Eddie resides in Norwell with his wife Jennifer and children Edward IV, Jillian and Declan.
